Sharing Knowledge & Resources through ‘Better Informed Choices’ project
Published 14 November 2013
The 'Better Informed Choices' project, funded through Leeds City Region (LEP), aims to share knowledge of the regional labour market with teachers, advisers and a range of other intermediaries, so that they can provide young people with the most up to date information and help them make informed career choices.
Fact sheets and video clips highlight opportunities in the key employment sectors in the region. There are also a number of lesson plans (divided into Key Stages 3, 4 and 5) and presentations that can be used in a number of settings.
The aim is for these resources to complement other information across the region.
The information is also available as part of the National Careers Service (NCS) website.
http://www.leedscityregion.gov.uk/our-work/skills/jobsintel/ takes you directly to the ‘jobs intel’ part of Leeds City Region website.
Please feel free to use the site as a resource and link your own relevant websites to this body of information.
